Microsoft has released Secrets and Treasure: The Lost Cities on Windows Phone 8.1, but only for those in Canada at this time.
We recently looked at the Windows 8.1 version hitting the store with full support for Xbox Live and now it's time for the smartphone to receive similar treatment. If you're not familiar with the title, it's a brand new casual puzzle game that will task you with exploring lost temples and cities.
The player will need to solve a number of puzzles to advance in the game and claim valuable experience to help train up the squad of helpers. Daily challengers are available to keep things feeling fresh. The game offers optional in-app purchases that range from $1.99 to $19.99, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since the game itself is free.
Considering most of you are unlikely to be in Canada, this news is of little value until the game goes to other regions. However, you can change your region under your phone's Settings to Canada and grab the game now, if you really cannot wait. Simply switch to Canada, download the game, and then switch back to your native region as you will keep the game.
Finally, 512 MB devices are welcomed.
